So, What makes them so elite?
Some Answer's I've gotten
"Their always in the cosplay public eye, make a gazillion good costumes, have a website, and attend a LOT of cons"
"Well it's probably the quality of their costume and how well they pull the character off."
Top elitist in the U S OF A
Yaya Han.
People (Young and Old) drool over her "impeccable" beauty, costumes, and modeling. Her costumes are spot on with details and everything. She's one of the best in the country, maybe the world.
When Yaya first started out, she was like me and you. Her costumes were decent, novice at best. Then her talent exploded, her costumes were award winning quality!

Types of work subject to copyright
The types of work which are subject to copyright has been expanded over time. Initially only covering books, copyright law was revised in the 19th century to include maps, charts, engravings, prints, musical compositions, dramatic works, photographs, paintings, drawings and sculptures. [ Boo, yo ugly cat ears ain't sculptures. ] In the 20th century copyright was expanded to cover motion pictures, computer programs, sound recordings, choreography and architectural works.
Fair use and fair dealing
Copyright does not prohibit all copying or replication. In the United States, the fair use doctrine, codified by the Copyright Act of 1976 as 17 U.S.C. § 107, permits some copying and distribution without permission of the copyright holder or payment to same. The statute does not clearly define fair use, but instead gives four non-exclusive factors to consider in a fair use analysis. Those factors are:
the purpose and character of the use;
the nature of the copyrighted work;
the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work
WHAT IS THIS?!
Also, I love how the Anime Expo staff did NOTHING. Maybe cause, she's the "ohlala" yaya han? Pfft. The tramp needs to dress like the 30 year that she is, and not a 20 year old with that horrible boob job.
And, When its time for me to go to a con, I GUARANTEE ILL SEE "YOUR" DANG CAT EARS BEING SOLD FOR CHEAPER AND BETTER QUALITY. ( i'll buy 6 too.)
Speaking of copyright..Isnt she SELLING pictures of her (conceded?) in COPYRIGHTED characters outfits?

I gave her these accolades on the basis of what I thought of her until...
I realized Yaya isn't a Cosplayer. She's a Monopolizing Cosplay Model, and her fans whiteknight her until the cows come home.
